Relation between Mixing Processes and Properties of Lithium-ion Battery Electrode-slurry

The mixing process of electrode-slurry plays an important role in the electrode performance lithium-ion batteries (LIBs). dispersion state conductive materials, such as acetylene black (AB), directly influences electronic conductivity composite electrodes. In this study, relation between and internal resistance was investigated combination with characterization electrode-slurries by rheological analysis alternating current (AC) impedance spectroscopy. Some showed higher value gentler slope dynamic storage modulus low-angular-frequency region thixotropic index than others depending on way AB content, agreeing low volume resistivities corresponding electrodes electrode-slurries, which indicates network growth. results suggested that low-viscosity when active material are mixed contributes to dispersive network.
